Good luck with it. I watched my tune his truck with it. A lot of information there. Overwhelming a bit.

I've found some good online guides. I'm really wanting to just tweak things at this point, particularly LTFTs (Long Term Fuel Trims) and STFTs (Short Term Fuel Trims). It's not like I'm trying to tune a new large motor or anything (yet).

I'm pretty good at teaching myself to do stuff things by reading, doing, and experimenting.

Woohoo! Tomorrow I get to take my first shot at tuning!

Note to self: Backup existing tune multiple times before changing anything!

Great idea, one that I would love to tackle one day as well when the time comes. There is a wealth of information to read and study on the subject. Good luck with it, I think you will do well... just take baby steps.

I would love to do the same, but my tune is done by Corey using EFI Live... I would love to have a tune for long drives to increase MPG's and then my "race" tune for the fun days.

You drive an '04.

Can't they activate the lean cruise?
