New Hoodliner...
I just ordered a GTO hood liner from this guy:
www.hoodliners.net
My stock hoodliner looks like crap and I'm going to give this route a try. I think it will also give me a little extra clearance for my Duspeed intake.
I ordered it with a red Pontiac arrowhead decal (which I may leave off).
Hopefully it will be here in time to install it for Goatfest.
Anybody got tips on how to mark and remove the hood so it can be put back on properly?

One of my favorite ways to mark something is to use tape. The edge of teh tape is what marks what you need. Then I place another piece of tape perpendicular to original piece to hold said original piece in place. Think of a T looking design. The top of the T is your mark and the stem of the T is the extra piece to hold the original piece.
If you use blue painters tape, it will stay pretty good and is easily visible when you go to reintall parts.

You could also drill alignment holes thru the hinges into the hood, just ensure you don't go all the way thru to the out side. Why do you need to pull the hood? Wont the liner come off without taking the hood off.

To properly glue in the new liner, the hood needs to be taken off and be upside down.

Glued on? Doesn't the factory liner get held on by push pins?
