ah man! i've been here in LeJeune for 2.5 months and haven't seen anyone on ls1 site that's stationed here! i'm going to camp johnson next week weds for my crest training. i'm in the Navy. i'm an RP. I really wish i had met you before now.

I see a lot of GTO's on base, but none on any sites.

Seems its really hard getting the GTO cround together here. I was stationed in Tampa before and the get togethes/car scene is pretty sick there. Here well you know Nice shot of your car btw

so im in mcas beaufort now. been here almost 2 weeks. i've seen 2 gto's. one was 04 bb and the other iswas 05-06 pbm. just saw that one tonight.

I've been UA for a while on this board, trying to fix that. I retired last year and I'm settled in Tampa. Mark your in Lejeune now correct? QwkGto what twin turbo kit do you have? What part of Ohio are you from. I from Lorain and the wife's from Columbus area we get up there about once a year. If I can meet the safety requirements I will bring the car up for the Ohio mile next year.

Ok it's been a while since I looked at the ECTA rules. As I was it will have to be the TX mile for this guy.. Quick list..

Five point safety harness SFI 16.1 or 16.5 (no more than 5 years old)
Speed rated tires
Land Speed Parachute
Full Roll Cage
SFI 38.1 type head and neck restraint system (Hans Devise)
Full Containment metal seat or a roll cage structure to provide restriction to lateral head movement of less than 2.0” per side inclusive of structure deflection.
Suit – SFI 3.2A-15
Boots SFI – 3.3/5
Gloves SFI 3.3/15
Head Sock SFI 3.3
Window tabs required front and rear
Electric fuel pumps require an inertial kill switch to disable pump
10 Lb fire suppression system- driver and engine compartment ( may be two five pound bottles. (Not a fire extinguisher)
Arm restraints AND door net

My cars a street car not caging the whole car for this. Well I am installing a 4pt cage but that will be removed after the event.
