Did you put hub rings on? I had a shake in my steering after being balanced 3 or 4 times I bought a set of hub rings and the shake went away.

I bought some wheels from Brazen2006 and he said he had a shimmy up front. He used the hub rings and when we put them on my car I couldn't get the hub rings to slide on, even after sanding on the hub. I decided to run the wheels without the rings. I was very careful when I tightened the lugs down. I tightened them down indiviually by hand first then used the lugs wrench. I have no shake or shimmy at any speed. I know they say not to run them without rings since these cars are hub bearing cars, but I have had my method work for me with no problems. This is just my opinion though...

Have you tried swapping the fronts to rears to see if its in the wheels or the hubs? You can also try pulling the wheel, then pulling the rotor and moving it 2 position clockwise and then putting the wheel on 3 positions clockwise to see if the vibration changes. This can help narrow it down to rim or hubs.

I have the same problem with my aftermarket rims. It got so bad that it cracked the P/S line where it goes into the rack and pinion. Cost me $50 for a new line assembly.

May be a tie rod end issue if you've rotated front to rear w/ the same problem reoccuring.

one thing to look at, some folks don't properly torque the lug nuts, they over torque them using a impact etc. Easily warping the rotors.

Very true. . . I was giving O.P the benifit of the doubt, but I guess it is indeed something that needs to be mentioned in trying to narrow down a cause for front end shakes.
