I have no plans for further modification since I've decided I'm getting something with the crossed flags on the nose next year about this time.

I own a 2004 Quicksilver that I've had since February of 2004. It's my daily driver and I've put 85K miles on it since I bought it. I have a few bolt on mods but that will probably change in the next couple of years. So far I have a Stainless Works Cat back that converted my single side exuahst to match the '05 bumper I put on. I also have the Lingenfelter intake, a Predator programmer, hawk pads and slotted rotors. Eventually I will have headers and probably a Maggie. Before that, I'm going to step up to 18's of some kind.

Honestly, between the pulley and the rockers, I don't know how my car hasn't blown up and ripped a gaping hole in the space-time continuum. I also have some suspension work and drivetrain work. My fastest time at the track has been 12.49@ 115. Don't tell people that, though. My math is stupid and the time on my slip is not the time I ran because I didn't wait for the planets to properly align before I made my run.

I also enjoy writing poetry, and HRJ wishes he could touch me.

My name is Joshua, I am 19 and I recently bought my GTO about 4 months ago and have been enjoying it ever since. Nope my parents didnt buy it for me... figured ide get that one outa the way first. I think im going to buy a sticker for the back window that says "Yes its mine and no my parents didnt buy it" that way maybe I wont get mean mugged at every light for being a young kid in a nice car. (Not that it bothers me... I just think its kinda funny)

I say this just because I get asked alot of questions... for instance the other day. Guy asks me how much do I make a year... I said not enough, easily under 20k. He says "I make 100k a year... how is it your driving a nicer car then me" He had a nice truck... I actually think he paid more for the truck then I did for the GTO but who knows... 2005 ish Dodge Duely w/ext cab. All I could really say was I work for alot for that car and I am loving every second of it. I was going to say... if you make 100k why didnt you buy something that you considering a nice car... but no reason to be a smartass the guy was actually really nice.

I work and pay for the car as I worked and paid off my first car a 2001 Civic. Yes this is my second car and I am still in shock that I actually have it. I still get all excited right before I go for a ride and I swear I do a double take at least once every time I park the car.

I have already been wrenching on the car as much as money allows for mods... (see signature below for mods). I plan on doing everything to this car because I have 3 yrs experience working for my father at his machine and fab shop. Getting dirty doesnt bother me at all... especially when working on my BLUE BEAST!

Currently I have been on a breather after High School trying to catch my breath after being stressed out way way too much from that whole nightmare that HS was for me. Plan on starting community college this January at San Jac South and hopefully later on I will transfer to a University of some sort... probably U of H Clear Lake.

Thats it for me really... just working on picking up some 15" BMW wheels, MT's, SS Clutch Lines and a helmet so I can start hitting Houston Raceway Park up with the rest of my fellow Texans.

Now that I have retired the miles will not add up nearly so fast. I can also start thinking about some additional mods that may not have been advisable with that long commute, if the retirement income can accommodate them.

The mods so far include:

17x8, 17x9.5 Enkei wheels
Kooks 1 3/4 with off-road mids

Hi. I'm Cameron. I'm a pretty cool dude. I have long hair. I'm a mediocre guitarist, and a 3/4 decent drummer. I just moved to Texas from Arizona. I like it for the most part, but I scrape the bottom of my car almost everywhere. I'm 20 years old, and I am currently listening to The Clash.

I own a 2005 Red/Red Auto. Mods to date are: Forged LS2 9.4:1, rear-mount sts twin turbo kit and all supporting mods (minus transmission). It has major oil problems. And a missing rear valence due to a shredded tire on the highway :|. Been through hell and back with it, too late to give up now.

I also enjoy long tokes on the beach. Candle lit dinner afterwards, plz.

Hello everyone! My name is Michele and I have a black '04 GTO. I am new to the scene as of September when I got my baby so I'm trying to learn the anacronyms you all are using to describe you body styles, etc. When I picked her up she had 54k and the more I drive her the more I love her. I'm not new to the car scene, I am also chapter pres of Hyper Auto Club and my other baby is an 03 Hyundai Tiburon that is heavily modded. I'm only just starting the modding process with my Goat so any advice is greatly appreciated. I want to thank Lancer and Chris for bringing me to this site when I met them last Saturday at 183a. I will be out there most every Saturday now that it has warmed up. Look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey folks..

Happened by this site by accdent. Did not know it was here!
Originally bought an '06 CGM in August '06. Sold it 4 months later with 497 miles/never saw rain! Bought an SS Cobalt Sedan. Have had that over 3 years now, never seen rain, with factory plastic still on seats, 2802 miles.
I missed that GTO... so last month came across an '06 SRM with only 15,000 miles. All original, including the tires. Had to get it, so I did. Driven it a couple of times and really like it.
My grand-dad owned a Pontiac-GMC dealership until he retired, passing the dealership to my parents. They owned it, until they recently retired. The Cobalt was the first "non-Pontiac/GMC" I had ever bought! Love the Pontiacs... older ones and the last ones.
Look forward to hanging out in here... Looks like a great bunch of guys (and girls... errr... women!)
