were both excited as hell, as scary as it is to consider raising a human in today's world... i think it would be more of a crime NOT to provide the planet with another good person.

Prayers sent your way for it to go well. Enjoy it and soak it all up. Time goes by sooo dang fast after they're here. Especially that first one. My oldest will be 14 in November and I don't see how that is possible.

wow.
so, turns out morning sickness is a summbitch.
i read that feeding her a little bit of something light before she gets out of bed is supposed to help, so i made her some blueberry muffins yesterday and gave her one this morning before she got up.
she ate a little bit off the top and just sat there looking at me like she was about to cry!!
i felt so bad for her!!!!! lol
any other ideas out there for helping my poor girl with morning vomits?

Whoa. Memories. My wife had morning sickness baaaaaaaaad., so I feel for ya, man.
She was a trooper and tried to get through it but it got to be "all day sickness" and it was getting way too intense. She went into the doctor and he prescribed Zofran. It was ridiculous how much it helped her. She only took it when she needed it, and she got these "fast acting dissolving" ones.
Not good to take anything you don't have to during pregnancy, but it's extremely hard on your body to be throwing up every five minutes. I guess it depends how bad it is.
Hang it there man! Call that doctor and see what he says.

awesome! thanks!
yah, were taking a more 'natural' approach to resolving the morning sickies right now, but if it gets too bad, we'll definately ask about the Zofran...thanks for the heads up.
hers is still confined to the early AM so far, luckily.

dry wheat thins and peppermint tea helped me a ton!
My SIL swears by gingerale.
But I will tell you...if it gets to where she loses weight, they will put her on zofran...especially if it goes all day...mine was 24/7 and it was horrible.

Sipping on 7up and crackers can help....7up is caffeine free. She needs to always have something in her stomach

I ate alllll the time, but I didn't have morning sickness at any time. I weighed 105 lbs when I got pregnant and weighed in at 165 when I had Tye.....but that was 33 years ago :D My daughter ate before she went to bed and that really helped her, give it a try and see.
