Trader Ratings

How about trader ratings to leave positive or negative scores as well as feedback. The score could be attached to members side bar so we can all know who is a good or bad seller. It should keep everyone honest about what they are buying and selling once this site really gets pumping. Sort of like what is on TECH.

I am cool with the trader ratings, people should realize they are just another tool though for selecting someone to buy from. They are fairly easy to game or most of the implementations I have seen are.

True, it will always be buyer beware when making purchases through a forum. But every little bit helps.

I think this would work much better than signs in your pics. :rolleyes: WTF is up with that?

Honestly the signs are a good idea. The downside is it make one more hurdle to the honest guys to go through. For the people that have been scammed by someone reusing someone else's picture it is a smart move. I would like to see both the signs and the trader ratings used here. I really hate to see people ripped off.

I am all for security..... (hahaha, coming from a cop). I can see both being a good idea. I see the trouble it might cause, but really if you have to take a picture, what is wrong with adding a little sign that has a name in it. Also the trader rating is a pretty cool idea. I do like that, but it has its flaws where people might not rust the person with a low rating.
