315/35-18 MT Drag radial on 9.5" Beyern 5 wheel (45mm BS). Able to fit? On the rim itself. Not worried about whether or not it'll fit once on the car. I know that it won't.......yet.

I think your going to need an 10.5 or 11 inch wheel to get a better contact patch. You maybe able to fit it on a 9.5 tire but it would be a waste IMO.

I was told a 305 would fit on it. Beyern just does'nt make anything more than a 9.5 (unless you get a 20" wheel...even then it's only 10"). And I LOVE my Beyern's :(

Yes, it will fit on the rim. God have mercy on the soul that has to get it down over the bead, and then set the bead. But it will fit.
It is sortof a waste though. because you will still only have 9.5" of contact patch so to speak. Just send your wheels in to weldcraft and have them widen them by 1.25" and then send that baby up here to me for the rest. lol.

Widening the Beyerns would work though, would'nt it? To like 10.5". Would'nt affect anything install wise would it with the mini tub?

Yes, widening them would work fine. I would need one wheel/tire complete for the mini tub process though. To ensure you have room to grow. lol. I would go ahead and have it widened to 10.75" or even an 11" though, since you will have the room for it after the mini tub.

Weldcraft said $225 per wheel for 1-3 inches of widening. 2 week turn-around right now. May end up being the route I go.

Are there even 10.5-11" wide 18's out there that will fit our cars?!?

Besides CCW's damnit! Too balla for me. They're a "show" wheel to me

Why do you want 18's? I've been told the more sidewall the better. I say keep the wheels you have now for the skreet, and get a set for the track. Hendrix is having a group buy right now... lol :D

315's on 9.5's have been done before. That is the absolute smallest that that size tire can go on. It would be more optimum om a 10 to an 11 though

Pretty sure a couple of the Corvette wheels (or repros) are close to that with a pretty high ET too.
