I wanted to show you guys the drag wheel I've selected. Yes, I know its not a "drag" wheel. But that is my main intention for the setup. I needed something streetable to drive to the track. Which is 40min to 2hrs away. Probably will wear them to the Endless Summer Cruzin in Ocean City as well. They are the Summit Warrior R/T's 15x4 in front and 15x8 in the rear. They fit without any grinding at all. In fact the only modification might be to move the rear brake line. And Drag bags or drag springs I'm sure would be required.

The fronts weigh 12lbs and the rears 15-16lbs.
I havent purchased the tires yet but I plan on going with M/T ET street radials 275/50 in the back and M/T sportsman s/r radials 26x6 in the front. I'm trying to keep a close to stock, 25.8",OD. So not to set off the ABS fault.
Here are some pics of the test fit.

I fooled myself, Im sending them back. I like the look, but its gonna be too much of a pita to take the hub rings off and on.

NOOOOOO!!!! I was all excited when I read your first post!

That is the wheel and tire I want to go with for track days and racing! :-(

Now I'll never get to live vicariously through your expenses...

Why were hub rings necessary? -mcs

Hub rings arent necessary but another measure i wanted to take to be safe. Since they arent the right lug pattern, i had some custom made by a friend of mine. Im not positive Im going to send them back. But I really want some Bogart D-10s.

Just have the rings permanently placed in the wheels. Tack weld or something.
