LOL, I was just talking to Matt at SNL this afternoon about getting down that way a the end of the month to get my car tuned. He ask about my set-up and when I mentioned that I would like to get it tuned for a 500 shot the phone got silent for a second then he came back with an Oh OK.

Talk with Brokenfly He runs 10s in dfw and does not have a cage. Find out what track he runs at. Why settle for just 100 shot and 11.5 150 shot is still safe and will get you that close to knocking on 10s door.

12.2 @ 124.7mph, 2.33 60ft, kuhmo street tires and pumpgas/lowboost (as if higher would of helped matters LOL) . I gained 30mph on the second half of the track LOL.

I really need some tire and the drivetrain to take it. A launch controller would be nice too.

No new times since then. Tick T56 and M/c + Monster level 4 clutch and CF driveshaft being installed now.

FAST 92, P&P TB, (had a K&N for that run), Kooks 1 3/4" headers, catless mids, 3" cat-back with x-pipe and Flowmaster 40's. Monster level 3 clutch kit, GMM Ripp shifter, Drag radials. Tuned my Matt @ SNL.

I got the afternoon off as a friend of the family offerd to take my boys to the fair. So I decided what better thing to do then go to the track for a little fun. The problem was that it was bracket racing so I paid extra to enter and only planned on getting the couple warm up passes. What I did not know is that my first pass was going to be this good. We did not have the nitrous coming on until 3750 and the timing tuner had it shutting off at 6400, not good since my shift points were set at 6750. So needless to say we have more in it. Plus I plan on jetting to 175 soon :gr_devil:

You get alot of street tire cars on TnT nights and that just tears up the first 100ft. of the track. Take your exact set-up and go out on a TnT night. I bet you will be .1 or .2 slower in 60ft.

Yeah it was a good problem to have. I just wish I could have stayed longer instead of quick run and out. But to me it was worth the $35 to crack a sub 7 sec pass. I knew the car had it in her it was just all in the 60'

Already been out testing the new set-up and gone 1.48 / 11.14 / 121.85 all on seperate passes N/A also been 10.46 @ 136.26 on a really small shot not even spraying til 3.8sec. in to the run.
Ironing out this new deal has been difficult and getting even 60% of the available power to the ground has been mind boggling.
Noticed and extreme amount of crank case pressure on just a 150 shot (think we got that ironed out) Have also done some suspension work and am putting some softer and taller tires on tomorrow. Trapping at 6700 rpm and knowing I have another 10+ MPH in the bank is not good. I guess shifting into OD and locking the converter at 1000ft. is still a possibility

Well I have a lot less in this setup then I did in Nellie. It would have been fun to run Nellie vs Sandman. Black Betty vs Sandman would only happen at the track, oh and you have to keep the m6 lol. Toby's car has sick top end as well but he told me what he ran at the track and there is no doubt it is not a track car. But like Nellie he built his to be a hwy street car.

Not sure it matters, but that 60' time of mine on the list is indeed my PB, but doesn't go with my PB ET. The correct 60' time is 1.738 for the 11.268 ET / 122.10 mph that is on the list.
