I am still cleaning out my stuff before I deploy with the Army and came across my old DBA rotors that came off my 2004 GTO. Here is the story behind them and why I have the extra set.
I got them and was having some "issues" when I forst got them. I called DBA and told them I received some warped rotors. They said there was no way that they were warped. I told them I had EBC Red Stuff pads to match them and they said the pads were probably bedded incorrectly. SO I took my car back and they reinstalled the brakes and I still had the issues. I called DBA back and told them what we did and they said to have them lightly machined. SO I took them back to the shop and they machined the rotors (they took off approximatley .005 -.007). I still had the problem. So I told them that and they said ok, we will warranty them out for you. I paid them a little extra for shipping handling and I got a new set. I had the same shop put on the new ones and low and behold, they were perfect. So I thought the rotors were crap and didnt think anything of it. I then did a lot of research on here and found that most likely what happened was the pads were not bedded correctly (hence the statement above). I then had the same shop put the old rotors back on (the rotors that are listed here) and had them take extra care of bedding the pads correctly. Sure enough, there was absolutley nothing wrong with the rotors and it was all because of the pads not being bedded correctly. I called DBA back and offered to pay for a full set of rotors because of my new found research. They said dont worry about it.
So here we are now with me having 2 sets of rotors and me needing the money and not wanting to move these with me. As you can tell there is wear on the rotors (about 600-700 total miles). I will sell them as they are right now or I will go have them machined at my shop for an extra $75, as that is what it will cost me. I am not looking to get rich from this sale, but am definitely looking to get rid of them.
These are going to anywhere from $280ish (Wretched) to $325ish (non sponsor) per pair. So if I do the math correctly, you are looking at spending $560 at least, plus shipping. SOL!!! SOLD!!! SOLD!!! Because of the minimal amount of miles and the fact that they are used, I believe the price is pretty good, but PM me with reasonable offers and we might make a deal.
Pics can be seen on the ls1gto board. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks
