State Fair Of Texas, ETG GTO Show 10-3-09
It's that time again boys & girls! The Great State Fair of Texas has once again invited the East Texas Goats to be part of the Classic Car Corral this year.
This will be my 4th year for this show and if you haven't been to the SFT in a few years, this is the time to do it!
I'm sure the folks who went last year will post up and let everyone know HOW MUCH FUN WE HAD LAST YEAR!!!!!!!

A few facts that everyone should know....
1. Entry into the fair is FREE!

2. Everyone in your Goat, also gets in FREE!

3. The Classic Car Corral is just steps from the Automobile building INSIDE ON THE GROUNDS OF FAIR PARK! and your car will be in a fenced in area ( Limited access.... nobody can touch your car )

4. We must arrive before 9 am and we can't leave until after 5 pm due to the fact that we are inside the SFT and they don't want us driving through the crowds.....

5. This may sound like a long time, BUT it really worked out great last year, ask anyone who went.

6. We will have a breakfast GTG at the Denny's on Central Expressway. 4400 North Central Expressway, Dallas, 75231
(Just south of Knox-Henderson rd on the north bound side of US 75 )

7. You DO NOT have to be a member of the ETG to join in with us at the SFT.

8. Did I mention this was all free??????

So, it looks like I am going to have to be traveling on Thursday (flying to Birmingham, AL) and Friday (driving to Lone Star, TX) this week and won't have as much time as I would like to fully detail my interior and engine bay for the show. Hey guys....... Sorry I've been out of the loop......
The gates close at 9am NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!! ( SFT rules, not mine )
I would like to see everybody at the Denny's by 7am if your eating. We will be caravaning out at 8:15 am SHARP.
On that note....... I figured out a way to halfass my car together so that it runs, but now I've been scheduled to work everyday this week. I don't get off of work until 6 am Saturday morning. and I'm 2 1/2 hours away. :eek: Just not sure if I'll have time to do it.
There is a form that needs to be printed out and signed by each car owner. It's just a release of liability form. I'll have some with me.
If I've missed any questions or if you have a new one, post it here. I'll check back again here tomorrow and I will answer all questions to the best of my ability.
