He is finally here!!! He arrived at 6:48am this morning, was 7 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long!

Thank you everyone! He's simply amazing, I have never been happier. We have got to sleep. We sleep when he does so it is more like power napping. It helps that the hospital's nursery will take him for awhile whenever we ask. We had to about 2:00am today. Melissa and I were both pretty wiped out and he decided that he wanted to be awake and constantly feeding. Melissa would start to feed him and he would instantly fall asleep. as soon as we tried to put him in the bassinet he was right back up.

Yep, that's how it went with us! After they're born, you want to keep them close and in the room, but you get so utterly exhausted, you get the nurses take them for a little while and then you're like "whoa. okay, why didn't we do that earlier?" HAHA There are just so many "adjustments" and new experiences mashed into a few hours, it's crazy. The little guy is doing everything he has to do to be in this new world... it's a lot of work for everybody!

I've said so before, but congrats to the new baby boy! Seems like only yesterday we heard he was on the way. They grow up so fast. My 1 year old girl is amazing me she is now 1 already. Enjoy them while they are small, they grow fast!

The name has nothing to do with the car. It was the only name my wife and I could agree on. It is just a bonus it happens to be Holden :D

My boy turns 1 today! Hard to believe that time has flown by so fast. He can walk and run now and is starting to say words. He has such a personality. It is really hard to imagine life without him.
