BLK Betty went to the track last night in the awful humidity.
She ran 7.37 @ 97 with a 1.82 60ft on a 100 shot
NA pass was 7.92 @88 with a 1.86 60"
If I went to the track enough I would definitely get some slicks! 1.8s are just not cutting it. Next time out I will hit it with 150 shot and see how she does :gr_devil:

I didn't think the wife was gonna let you mess with this one?

she thinks ibought it this way :wall: did not tell her I was going to the track. was just a night out with the guys.

as far as mods go, she does not want me to put a built engine or any type of FI. what has been done was done on trades. no out of pocket cash and the car was never at a shop.

That's how it starts.... Well, I don't have to tell you. You'll run it with a bigger and bigger shot then when it blows, since you "have" to put a new motor in it, might as well be built and so on and on and on :seesaw:

I am sure one day several years from now she may let me build again but right now this is as far as she goes. 150 shot sprayed maybe 3 times per month if that will not do any lasting damage. I learned from my mistakes last time and will not be building a new motor under false pretences, nor will i intentionaly make a part fail prematurely. That was pure selfishness on my part. :banghead:

The motor that is in the car was from 1insaneGTO's wifes car. When I sold him my 408 motor and Gen TTr kit we swapped his wifes full heads cam bolt on motor and put my stock motor in Nellie as we were selling her as completly stock. The AFR heads that were on it were sold to cover the purchase cost of the PRC heads and SNL cam. So like I said no out of pocket costs and the car is still on the stock bottom end with not forced induction. That was my wifes and my deal. So we are good :D
