Mike still hasn't had a chance to get over here yet but I saw this on the other forum and told him I would post it here.
Not sure which board to post this under...
My best friend Cody (http://www.gastiresoil.com/#) G's dad, Larry, was killed in a wreck last night (7/29) near Bastrop.
http://www.statesman.com/news/content/n (http://www.statesman.com/news/content/n) ... eadon.html
Larry helped build Cody's custom TT 04 Mustanghttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2.gif (http://www.gastiresoil.com/#) GT and ported/pullied 03 Cobra together...he was a man you had to meet to understand the depths of his heart and integrity just in a 5-minute conversation with him...
I'm posting this hear not as a downer, but because I want to organize a cruise in his honor, one Sunday in August...
I know most of the folks on here didn't know Larry because he lived out in Bastrop and was a Ford (http://www.gastiresoil.com/#) guy, but it would mean a lot to me if we could make a good showing for a nice, peaceful cruise.
We'd meet around 1pm at the Best Buy lot here in north Austin (http://www.gastiresoil.com/#) and take off shortly thereafter...down mopac, down 2222 to Bullock Hollow and Lime Creek Rd. We'd end up at Rudy's or Mesa Rosa along 620 for drinks, lunch, laughs, and a toast to a great man...
Anyone on here interested?...
-Michael
I met Cody's dad before and he was a really good guy.
