I saw msRomper has "On a Lake in Texas" as her local so I figure I'd start a thread.

Any regular boaters here? And by regular I mean umm, 3-4 times a month.

If so, what are you on and what are you doing?

I have a 2005 Honda F12x PWC that I absolutely love tearing up. 9 times out of 10 I'm with a group on the lake that consists of my GFs parents/boat and my best friend and his boat. That's why I got the ski so we had something to play on.

We usually find a cove, sit, fish and drink. Both the boats have cuddy cabins so we stay the night. We're not those drunk idiots riding watercraft drunk. Few beers = no more riding. Time for laughing and fishing.

We aren't into the powerboat thing so we usually do a lap around the lake to keep the engine lubed and the batteries juiced. Then it's to the cove.

Anyone else? Pics?

Although it looks like I'm holding my junk, I was just resting my arm. < F that. I'm holding my junk.

We have a 21 ft Triton....we live on a lake in Hawkins and we fish a lot off our dock...beer and sitting on dock fishing is the bomb.

I wish I could be considered a 'regular' boater. We've got nothing around us here in DE. We leave our boat on the lake in Maine.

Just a 15ft Yar-Craft with a 75hp Evinrude outboard. Gets the job done, but nothing special.

I've missed the boat 3-4 times a year. Does that count?

Don't have any pictures of my dads boat on my computer, but these will show you what it looks like.

He lives in East Texas so we usually take it to Cedar Creek Lake to go wakeboarding, because it's not to busy of a lake, and really nice to wakeboard on. It's usually just me, and my older brother who take it out. We try and get out on it is much as we can.

Now when I'm in Austin I try and go every weekend, but since I haven't been in Austin at all this summer I haven't gotten a chance to go on the lake, but that's Ok, Lake Travis is ridiculously dry right now.
