i want to pick up these two pretty soon...
opinions on used LQ9 blocks and used L92 heads?
anyone have a place theyve purchased from and were happy with, or is it a hunt every time to find some good used ones?

well, the plan has always been to get my LS1 NA where i want it, then once it blows up... throw in a LQ9/L92 and boost the **** out of it.
well, now that ive been 'nuts deep' in my motor several times already, my confidence is at a level where i feel that im ready to start building a replacement beast.
plus, this lifter BS has me so frustrated im ready to pull the damn LS1 anyways. lol
thanks for the PM i'll keep you posted ;)

I would contact some local speed shops. Usually they have some good used stuff laying around that you can purchase.

Allen at Nelson Performance, a sponsor on the left, did my build. I believe he got my L92s and LQ9 pretty cheap. Give him a call and he'll get you a good price.

man, you have the exact setup i want.
if you dont mind... how much did you put down with that setup, how much boost, any track times and how much did it end up costing you?

My brother in law has an ls6 he'd be willing to part with for a decent price. I'm sure you got the text about it originally, he got it for cheaper than advertised.
