Well, I will be at Goatfest, but I don't know yet if Fiona will be.

She went into the shop Monday because of the problems I've been having. Turns out, the intake manifold had a crack in it on the back. Got that repaired and car runs great now with one exception. It has a sputter and/or backfire on WOT acceleration above 4500 RPM. The shop is trying to figure that out. They are pulling the plugs tomorrow and doing a compression check. Hopefully it's just bad/fouled plugs from running so rich for so long.

If they get it figured out tomorrow, then I'll have her at Goatfest, though she'll be dirty. If it turns out to be a bigger problem (i.e. with a valve spring, push rod, or valve) then obviously she won't be there. No matter what, I will be there!

I had a blast at my first Goatfest! I'm kicking myself for not attending during my first 3 years of ownership. Lots of VERY nice looking GTOs out there. I got some gas at the Shell station just up TX-16 and the herd as a whole got a couple of compliments. Looking forward to the next one!
