**Oklahoma vs. Texas autocross mania**

OCT 18th, a Sunday, registration from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m, $25.00, nice trophy for Fastest time no matter what kind of tire or setup, 1 trophy. No entrants will be eligible to race after 9 a.m. Everyone must pass safety inspection of battery tied down, loose objects removed, no leaking fluids, lugnuts tight. Helmut is required. Only 1 driver, no passengers.


Depending on how many cars show up, we usually run two heats of 4 1 lap races. There will be only two cars on track at a time. One starts and the second one starts after the first car gets to the half way point.

The track that we run at is in N.E. Oklahoma City.

Thoughts are to make a weekend event / GTG out of this. Maybe do a big cookout at my house or at a local shop Saturday night..:dunno:

Damn!!! That ain't no regular Auto-x course right there! Top of 3rd??!!? This is set up by other guys in fast cars wasn't it? More of a Whaoo-Road course! Vette guys & Miata guys will set up TOTALLY different courses, to suit there likes :)

Anyhoo, looks like a lot of fun. Hope y'all have a blast.

Damn!!! That ain't no regular Auto-x course right there! Top of 3rd??!!? This is set up by other guys in fast cars wasn't it? More of a Whaoo-Road course! Vette guys & Miata guys will set up TOTALLY different courses, to suit there likes :)

ok I need some feed back here. The weekend of the 17-18th is OU - Texas weekend. Will that be a problem scheduling wise for anyone!? If so we might be able to do it on Sept. 30th, but that's not much notice.

If we do the 17-18th, Matt one of the guys helping me with this, has offered up his shop for us to do a watch/talk chit party at. Throw some burgers on the barbie and ice down some beers (or diet Dr. Pepper) and good times will ensue. Then race on Sunday. We are still looking at having the cook out regardless of dates.

what do you guys think....Be careful, we have laps for Charity sometime around there and the NHRA event is towards the end of September as well and the Fair is out there too. I sure don't want to miss the chik in the red bikini :thumbs:
