**Oklahoma vs. Texas autocross mania**

Alright guys, the okgoatherd has been working on having an All GTO grudge match between Texas and Oklahoma (yes if you don't drive a GTO you can still come play). This is still in the works, but tentatively we are looking at the month of September and it will definitely be on a Sunday. A rough guess on price looks like it's going to be around $25 per car. Depending on how many cars show up, we usually run two heats of 4 1 lap races. There will be only two cars on track at a time. One starts and the second one starts after the first car gets to the half way point.

The track that we run at is in N.E. Oklahoma City.

OCT 18th, a Sunday, registration from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m, $25.00, nice trophy for Fastest time no matter what kind of tire or setup, 1 trophy. No entrants will be eligible to race after 9 a.m. Everyone must pass safety inspection of battery tied down, loose objects removed, no leaking fluids, lugnuts tight. Helmut is required. Only 1 driver, no passengers.



Thoughts are to make a weekend event / GTG out of this. Maybe do a big cookout at my house or at a local shop Saturday night..:dunno:
