Any suggestions for the best way to lower the factory seats about 3/4 of an inch? I run into clearance issues when wearing a helmet. Tilting the seat back is not a real solution.
Thanks!

I am a pretty tall dude so I have been in the same spot, using the controls alternate pushing down on bothe the from and the back of the lower seat control, I have found doing that will take it a bit lower, otherwise maybe find a thinner helmet :)

There appear to be some "L" shaped brackets attached to the seat that allows mounting to the seat's adjustment mechanicals. I will likely try to cut, shorten, and re-weld these brackets. The seat's mechanics will then move further into the cavity of the under-seat.

Man I'd be real hesitant about molding the seat mounts. It would suck if they broke in an accident.
