A guy that Josh (Poolshark) recommend to me hooked me up on my soon-to-be-installed '05/'06 brakes.

I'll probably get him to powder coat my stock 17s, in the future.

He's a real friendly guy, and his prices are VERY reasonable. He's located in Needville, and the drive was completely worth it. He had wheels and calipers that were drying in his shop, and they looked amazing. I told him I would mention his name to fellow GTO owners.

PM me if you want his contact info.

I'm gonna try to see if he can send me pics of some of his work.

Raymond is a great guy, I really cant believe how good his prices are... I guess thats the upside to a one man shop though.

He powder coated some 1's gloss black on a friends IBM that I had just painted grilles and rear valence gloss black on. It looks amazing all together on the car and I am going to get some pictures up of it next time I see him.

is it possible to get rims powdercoated without dismounting them from the tires?

No. They are baked in an oven for an hour at 350 degrees.

Yeah...that's my biggest dilemma. I have 3 extra wheels. I might borrow an extra stock 17 from someone, and send my 4 to be done. If not, I'm gonna send him two wheels at a time.

He says he records your name, and your color choice, so he can go back and paint match.

No but Raymond has the special tool to dismount and mount tires at his shop. I am sure he takes great care when doing so...

I have a buddy at work that does powder coating. Does some kick a$$ work. I'm pretty sure he goes to a lot of the West Houston meets.
