nice runs with the vette did you pull him hard to tell because the of him jumping so bad on the honk the first run looks like you got him pretty good.

Yeah, nothing personal... just thought it fit well with what went on that night. Im gonna change it though... I shoulda just stuck with my first choice.

I dont think I pulled him but he wasnt walking away too much... was hard to tell, but I expected him to pull me on the top end.

I had a vette pull up next to me last night and gave me props on my gto and the sound of it. Didn't race him, but probably should have. It was a C5

Ive only had one good run with a C6 vette and it was before I got my clutch setup, tick master, ported intake manifold/tb and the Svede intake (had Vararam at the time).
We did a roll from about 50 or 60 - 130 140 and it was dead even, til the top where he started inching out slowly and got about a foot or two on me. I wouldnt even say it was a 1/4 car. No doubt it would have kept pulling me on the top end, but it was a good close run and goes to show they are not invincible. The C6 had Exhaust, tune CAI...

Not bad, considering how much more weight we carry with our cars

M3 curb weight is 3415 but the vette is definitely a little lighter, I believe about 3200lbs.
1/3-1/4 tank of gas, no tow brace, everything out of the trunk except spare/jack setup and I have the lightweight drive mod, 150lbs + 170lb camera man = 320lbs, pretty light for two people. I am considering doing some more weight reduction... for the track season coming up at the very least.

Just did some research on that M3, looks to be the 2001-2006 E46 M3 with a 3.2L inline 6 cylinder.
