After literally weeks of trying to get my ST-7's off (they were siezed on the hub to the point of insanity) so I can clean up the curb rash, I was able to to put back on the stockers I painted awhile back in my spare time. Not perfect, but I love em. I put a small blue pinstripe as well, which I think really finishes it off nicely, at least in person. Just a couple quick crap pics.....

Sweet, Eddie.
I remember seeing those at your lil get-together, a couple of months ago. Knew they'd look sweet on the car.

Looks great Eddie!
I am going to do something close, but not exactly the same. It will have the blue lip though...

No problem, I'm curious what it will look like with the stock color.

Hmmmm, I'm curious what you have in mind. I love how the graphite looks on IBM, really makes it look a bit more sinister.

1st one is Oook, I guess.
The others...ew. lol
The last one is the "Baby 18s" look. They paint the outer part of the spokes, and it gives it that fake 18-inch-style spoke. I, personally, LIKE the 17s. They have more to them, instead of just flat wheels.
Either way...go for it, Josh. I'm sure anyone who makes fun of the color will feel sorry for themselves when they line up next to ya.

yea since im poor and dont wanna buy new rims i was thinking about painting the stockers a light graphite. a little lighter than the OP's. Also widening the rears a couple inches to fit more tire. Maybe a 8 x 10 setup of stagger

I have never been a fan of any of these looks. Either do the whole rim or don't do it at all, but that's my opinion.
OP- I think the graphite wheels on your IBM looks awesome.

Ya Josh, I gotta agree that those looks really don't go with the lines of the car. I'd stick to one color, but it is your car and it's whatever makes you happy. Let me know what you decide and good luck.

I don't know the last two pics look like an improvement on the 17's and have a bit of an old school flare to them. Eddie yours look great I think your car just needs a little drop to reduce the gap between fender arch and tire.

Man, I know. That gap really bothers me, but if the front was any lower I'd scrape just about every dip and ramp in Houston. Springs aren't too much $ so maybe I could give it a shot. I have Lovell's 0 drop in the rear to raise it for clearance of my new wheels. I didn't want to roll or cut the fenders and this worked out perfectly.

I like the baby 18s the best out of all those tbh... I just want something different that isnt one color. I am going to play around with them in paint/photoshop. Nothing is set in stone, just need to make a design of my own.

I'm really liking the graphite wheels that Eddie went with. I think if you did the graphite wheels with the blue ring you wanted on the edge would look awesome.

Yeah that graphite really looks nice, Im starting to think it would be a perfect match for maverick mans carbon fiber, lip spoiler, diffuser, hood scoops and front sap grilles.

Those wheels look sick! I am thinking doing graphite or semi gloss black on the stock 18s. What does everyone think?

I think that would look awesome on our CGM's. (The Graphite that is) I'm thinking about doing it to my 18's down the road.
