If I were to install a new stereo in my goat, is it possible to have the control on the steering wheel still operate properly?

Yep, just make sure you get the correct pac for your head unit's model number. Certain pacs only work with certain head units. Be sure to cross reference that before clicking the "Buy" button.

The adapters work pretty well. I have one and it just has a slight delay vs the factory.

Yeah, used one as well. They are a little bit to install, but take your time with the instructions and you should do alright...

+1. take your time, read the instructions before the install. make sure you solder the connections, quick connects usually come loose. my .02
