Everybody go ahead and breath a big sigh of relief ha ha ha.

I decided I wanted to go fast at the track and not on the street anymore. I am officially retiring from the street action and am going to become a track whore lol. So I picked up a beautiful 2002 Z28 from a good friend of mine.

I will get some decent pictures of it later, but this guy bought it new off the showroom floor and kept it in perfrect condition for 8 years. And it hauls A$$ to boot!:gr_jest:

Man the thing is I went broke multiple times over that GTO, finiancially I couldnt afford to keep going with it and get it where I wanted. So I decided to pass the torch on to someone else in hopes that they can make it the car I always dreamed it to be.

I saw an opportunity to have a badass car and be payment free, so I went for it. Im sure I will regret it further down the line when I see all the great things Lagzilla becomes.

WTF, in about 30 years that GTO will bring tons more money than the camaro. Fbodys are cool and all (i know ive had like 6 of them) but the quality is second to none IMO. i think its cool what your doing, but i think your going to kick your self in the far future! congrats on not having a payment man.

Nah my GTO wouldnt have been worth much, if you keep up on the auctions and such the more stock the vehicle is the more it is worth and vice versa.

Oh on a side note.....Betty went 8.64@121 in the 1000' if it was a 1/4 mile track I would have broken the record for stock bottom end GTO of 10.38

Man you sold the goat for an fbody? You just needed an auto for the track and you would have been set. Someone will have to pry my goat from my white knuckled fingers! Too bad you sold it, I would have liked a hwy run.
