C6 wheels?

I know they'll fit, but where do you think the best place to find these would be?

I've seen plenty of sites from the other forum. But, I'd rather get yall's opinions, and comments on whether you think replicas will be good enough. Prices on OEM wheels are a bit up there, for me. (found 'em cheap in some places, but they never last long)

I'm thinkin about 17s up front, and wider 18s out back. If not, 18s all around...staggered, of course. Sticking to plain silver, since I'd get them powdercoated, eventually.

Any other recommendations, suggestions, etc? (studs, lugs, whatever)

Staggered sets are costly on tires... just throwing that out there. You cant rotate your tires if they are different sizes and it causes you to have to buy tires more often. Otherwise the wheels look nice, I would use them but only if I could take the corvette emblem off the center and replace it with a flat surface or maybe a pontiac symbol.

Yeah...I know the consequences of different tire sizes around the car, but it's hard to avoid the look of it. Just looks good, especially with that wider tire out back. I guess we all gotta make small sacrifices.

Most of these replicas can have flat surfaces on the centers. A friend of mine said he has a guy here in Houston that can custom-make something on the center caps. So...that also got me thinking. Ha.

If anything, I'd buy center caps that are blank. Seen them on ebay...
