HOUSTON -- Firefighters broke down a wall to get a 400-pound woman out of her apartment on Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
The woman broke her leg and needed to go to the hospital.
Crews couldn't get the woman down the hallway, so they cut open an exterior wall of her second-floor apartment on Scott Street near Wilmington Street at about 2:30 p.m.
Firefighters used a ladder truck and a pulley system to get the woman down to the ground.
Firefighters said they go through special training to deal with unique rescues.
