I get off work ontime today, so you could say I was having a good day. I go and hop in the goat and come to find that my ****ing ignition is locked!!! Lancer came and picked me up and I chilled at his place till the tow truck showed up. Guy calls and we run down there to give him the key, then find out he can't tow it because he has a flat bed and I have an auto which means we can't put it into (N). ****!!! My car is still sitting at my work.

Sucks man, havent tried this myself on a GTO, but on some cars you can manually move the transmission to neutral under the car.... Is this not possible on the GTO... I will have to give a look sometime... Wait let me see, I have some pictures from under the Crewman and it uses the same auto tranny... Let me take a look....

Yeah, cant it be moved via the connection shown in the picture, or would it have no effect?

In any case, I guess they will just send a picker to get the car then...

I just got someone to tow it to covert and they are going to start working on it tomorrow. Having no car sucks! I need a DD.

I'm 20 so they won't and can't. But my dad is going to get one cuz he co-signed and just let me drive it.

Just make sure to get the insurance on the car so you can treat the rental car like a $2 hooker!

Haha when my ignition locked i tried getting a rental, i was only 19 by the way, and i ended up arguing with them telling the dealership how they can sell me a car but not be able to let me borrow one. I still didnt get it which pissed me off but oh well it happens.

Yeah thier hands are tied, it is a insurance/law call. I got in a wreck when I was 19 but since I had my own insurance and my parents weren't on it I couldn't get a rental.

Yeah this happened to me about a week before I wrecked the GTO. It sucks big time, but it's a pretty simple fix.
