:burnout:Alright guys, below is the setup that I'm going with. Feel free to give me your thoughts. Yes I know these are not drag radials, but the car really doesn't see the track. I LOVE the idea of the bigger wheel in the back. And with my suspension setup - 3/8 drop in front, zero drop in the rear, I think it will just look badass with the rake of the car.

18x8 5-120 35GMF, TSW Crofts, Gunmetal, in the Front. Wrapped in 235/40/18 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

19x9.5 5-120 45GMF, TSW Crofts, Gunmetal, in the rear. Wrapped in 275/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

Right now these tires seem to be the best for the money. They also give me the chance to afford all the above right now. And hell, if I'm not happy with the tires I'll burn 'em up lol

I THINK YOU SHOULD BUY MY GENERAL EXCLAIMS AND BURN THEM UP FIRST!

I NEED CAM MONEY! IT IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

But, for real, nice wheel choice. 19s are a bit big for my taste, but I went with aftermarket 17s. lol

The Hankooks sound better than the Sumitomo's HTRZs? Also, if you're getting this before August 6th, Dunlop has up to a $80 mail-in rebate with a purchase of 4 select tires.
Also, I can get wholesale pricing from Tirerack, so if you want a price on something before finalizing, I might be able to get you a better deal. You'll just have to pay cash and pick them up from the New Castle warehouse.

The crofts are a sexy wheel. They are one of the ones that are on my list of possible rim choices

lol, sorry brother, not going to happen now. I appreciate the hookup, but I need them to come balanced/mounted, etc. My groomsmen and I are splitting it (credit cards) so it's going to work...thanks though! If I hear of anyone needs DRs I'll point them your way.

Yeah, man. I'm definitely getting Hoosier DRs my next time around since Tirerack carries them.

Just to be clear, though, the Exclaims are not DRs.

nice wheel selection. although the front's are 3" too big and rears are 4" too big in diameter for my tastes.

should look killer though

id go one size all the way around...not a big fan of bigger size wheels in the back...but the wheels are def a good choice...

I appreciate your opinions guys, but I really think I'm going to stick with the 18/19s setup. I really think this will help with the overall look of the car that I am going for. If it turns out I don't like it, I will bite the bullet and buy the other two to complete the set that I prefer.

I love the look of vettes with the bigger wheel in the back, and I think it just gives more presence to the car.

Perhaps 17/18?

Of course, this is coming from a guy with 17s all around. Do you know how hard it was to find a set of staggered 17s that fit this car which I can afford and I happen to like?

Hardest thing I ever bought for this car. lol

I personally like staggered set-ups.

Anyone have pictures of a setup like this (18s front / 19s rear) on a GTO? Or know anyone that has it?

Thanks!

I like the wheel you have chosen, and I agree with you on the 18/19 combo. It's not like you will be able to rotate the tires anyway, your going wider in the rear. lol.
I say stick with what you intially settled on, and go from there.
I'm looking forward to the installed pics.
