Here are the details on the enginehttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif (http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347537#). LS7 427 with L92 CNC ported heads & Yella Terra roller rockers, Comp cam .617/.623 231/243 115+4
9.5 to 1 comp with custom Je blower pistons, Callis compstar rods & crank.
The engine was built by Shawn at VA Speed.
I will be running my current D-1 blower with the 3.40 pulley for now, until I am able to pick-up an F-1.

I hope it's close, the goal is 750rwhp but to get that I think I am going to need the f1a.

Low to Mid 700s sounds right. It will be interesting to see how much boost a D-1 will push on this large CI engine.

If I can get to the low to mid 700 mark that would make me very happy! I really don't want to have to go to the F1a quite yet.

I can't remember the exact number but I bought them from Jim on the other site. They were over 355cfm @ .600 on the intake side. They were on the car when Engine Builder Mag did a write up on it.

Yes that will make a difference too. Hell I will just be happy once I finally get to drive the car again!:banghead:

Do you have the race valve? Sounds like you need to do the pro-charger "filter mod". lol I will be doing this after I get my drive-train parts. A local guy here did it and he gained 1lb of boost, with just the filter mod.

No, it's the stock valve. Yeah I need to do the filter mod for sure it was choking at the top. I am considering selling the d-1 and going with a f-1d but if I go that route I will probably need some pri heads with thicker decks. We shall see!:gr_jest:

It is a beast! I need to do a mini tub as the nitto's are worthless!:D

I wouldn't be surprised if that stock valve was hurting you also. Enjoy the new power!

Might be but it seems to be working fine. What symptoms should I look for? Surging?
Kjhallex

Yup, compressor surge, When you let off from a WOT pull you will here it flutter instead of one big whoosh. lol I know with a F-1 you are going to need it, but since your spinning the D1 to the max you might need it also.

It seems to be doing OK currently, but I know with an f-1 I'll need the bigger valve.
