so me , toby and my two mechanics are on our way back from lunch today in the S.S. when we see a 05-07 GT in front of us. i really didnt think much of it so we just rolled past him at about MPH. we get abotu 3-4 cars ahead of him and he speed up and gets next to us, NOW REMEMBER this is a silverado S.S. with 4 peopl in it. weighing it around 6700 LBS with all the people and we JUST filled with gas. SO he gets next top me and give me the go, i laugh and look at Toby and said" he wants to race" i punch it at 40 MPH and he does also. we run up to abotu 90 MPH, him in his light gt with just his skinny butt in it, and during the run i was LOL at the mustane and pointing at it and telling TOBY "Look he it right here i can touch him, hes not pulling on me one bit! " LMAO........i felt so sorry for the poor guy to get beat by a big truck loaded out. The truck DOES have a procharger on it BUT it is BONE stock other than that, has almost 100K on the motor even! and its AWD at that!

I don't think that the 6L motor in the SS Silverados was an LS2, I believe it was an LQ9? rated at 345hp stock - but nice kill on the stang.
