Will the C5 vette wheels fit on our cars? It's 17X8.5 in front and 18X9.5 rear.

I have seen them fit. There are pictures and write up's from people doing them on the other board. I think you'll need a spacer, or possibly some other work to make it happen. But I have seen it done multiple times.

I was kinda hopeing it would be direct slip on no problems :(

I'm not the type of person willing to add additional things to make something work. I'd rather buy something that is made to fit and put it on no problem.

Yea, to be honest with you I believe you have to do "extra" work to make them fit... I'll check some threads over there, and with copy and paste them for you to see whats up.

If you are that type of person I would call Group A wheels, one of our site sponsors. They have a great selection of wheels that fit our GTO's perfectly. I personally have a set of their ROH Drift R wheels and they fit with zero rubbing and no fender lip modifications with 275's out back. ;)

Yes, we have what you will need. Inventory on the bigger stuff is getting a little though, as we are getting ready for winter packages.
Give us a call though, (631) 957-3901

I agree. Those Drift R wheels are some of the best looking wheels for our cars. I'm a 5 spoke fan. Phoenix has some black ones on his Pulse car and they are so damn clean. Hey Kingsize, how are you running 275's without rolling the lip?

check sig for pic...

18x8.5 in front, 19x10 in the back with a 295 so far. had to use spacers on front and back, arp studs front and back, and rear fenders rolled...

:D love the look and setup :D

Does it feel any different with the front widen as well? I'm thinking about going with getting major body work done to the rear and major suspension relocation with the coilovers being worked on in the suspension threads. I want to be able to run at least a 325 in the rear on the newer Zo6 wheels

no difference. i'm actually going to get rid of this setup and go with 18's all around. i have a 5mm spacer in front and i think a 1" spacer in rear and my rear fenders rolled.

really not that much work. you can get the 1" spacers on ebay for 105 shipped and they are hub centric, my spacers aren't. i'll prob upgrade to those if they can match my hub vs the vette wheel.
